central coast is rad its nly aussies here at the moment
you sound suited for metroing maybe foot ball
dude, you really don't need lessons,
just practice everyday, then you will grab a bag full of tricks.
well thats how i learned:)
well just have fun with it and keep doing it
we all have to start somewhere
call slam factory (4355 1557) and ask for me, my names denny, i do clinics sometimes
I wouldn't seek Muska's help if i were you, otherwise the only tricks you'll be doing will be kickflips, front 180's and noseslides down handrails, oh wait noselides down handrails look sii1!!!ck do00od.
Even Jamal agrees "muska youtubes wont help".
Another thing you shouldnt do is frequently pester people about teaching you stuff because they are skating to learn new things as well not to be a day carer. Just watch skate videos, slo mo, look for leg movements, lean, shoulder direction etc and then gather all that information and keep it in mind when trying to learn your new trick. Oh and if you nut yourself on a handrail the likelyhood of it happening again soon is pretty er... unlikely. Don't be scared of pain, pain is your friend :)
Dude you're like an untouched canvas then... Maybe you should turn a blind eye to anything that's ever happened in skateboarding and just go skate and have fun..
Get creative and do exactly what feels good to you... Maybe you'll come up with a totally new style!!
Then again.. maybe you'll just develop some wack habits..
Keep ya front foot on the board when ya push!!
get an old skateing dvd, pump up some thrashy tunes to get amped up then skate and have fun...being really good means nothing it's all about loving skating ,once bitten forever smitten and when you fall have a laugh. works for me
