FINALLY!
After a long, long wait and many promises of "construction will begin soon."
The area where Ringwood skatepark is being built has been zoned off with temporary fencing (grass area next to ringwood market, across the road from ballistyx) and construction is expected soon.
Hopefully this park will be up soon, updates as they happen...
cool. ringwood isnt far from me. i will be checking that out soon.
ballistyx is chat. i went in looking for a jacket with a fur hood and said i didnt wanna spend more than $150, he said "you wont find one for under $150 :S"
1 Day later i found one for $100 with free socks. So by chance if that **** is reading this....FUCK YOU JERK!
went past there today and they have started digging up the ground. how long does it usually take for a skatepark to be built?
Today I passed the site and saw quite a large mound of dirt, with some kind of excavator on top of it reaching into the hole infront of the dirt mound it was perched on. making said hole bigger.
The bowl maybe?
Good to see something is underway!
fuck about time we got a good smooth park to skate!!!!! and that bowls insane considering i skate down at knox!!
Was skating the stairs next to it yesterday while waiting for the ballistix sale, there was heaps of work going on all dirt has been dug up hopefully won't take long
Went past today, lots of dirt has been moved.
some areas appear to have been leveled out, couldn't see any sign of the bowl. No concrete yet.
