news is $$ 800,000 $$ budget, street plaza deal, with a bowl, no more info at this time
I ran into Scotty S. on the bus today and he showed me a design plan for the skate plaza. The plaza design is pretty good and yeah they were thinking of putting in concrete bmx jumps, but decided that a bowl would be better.
Fuck I hope it's not 8ft. We got 6-9 ft up the blurter in Brisso. Need some 10-11ft Belco styles.
i contributed to the design, there's no bowl, last i heard they were gunna start constuction around cristmas
Umm im pretty sure there will be a bowl dude. and tone sorry but apparently the bowl is going to be 8ft in the deep and 6ft shallow end.
i was a the meeting helping design this park, it was ment to be 100% street, there are 8 huge bowls 1km up the road form where its being built (over the old one). the biker did'nt liekt hat idea so there is was some box jumps and a mini ramp to keep em happy, i havent spoken to scotty lately but i am pretty sure there was to be minimal tranny at this park...
