> BANKSTOWN SKATEPARK
Just found out that there is going to be 2 skateparks built in Bankstown, Amour Park in Revesby and Jim Ring Reserve, Birrong. Does anyone know what the deal is?
dude, the revesby thing has been in the works for fucking ages, and nothing has happened. i made a thread over a year ago with the plans included, and it looks sweet but the council are really dragging their balls on the ground. will post plans later
Thanks Johnny D. Apparently the tendering is done so its another day closer!
I rate the fenced-in bowl as a rad idea... i reckon any riverwood old-skoolers might agree
yeah ook's right the bankstown park is in greenacre i think? i've never skated it though is it any good?
I think it's looks good hey. familiar though. Helensburg design ??????
2 things:
1 - not enough flat or space between pyramids etc. More flat ground .(hard to tell, but a usual problem with most designs)
2 - why do they seem to try make parks like a triangle, i.e get narrower?
I can understand if there is room constraints, but someone obviously thinks they look better.
Can someone build square, like bass hill????
Camden is a classic example. Ruined only by that stupid ginormous bank and the triangle shape. Why???? Please explain.
Belfield / strathfield another example.
