> SKATE DAY @ CHATSWOOD PARK
Were running a chilled out day at Chatswood Skate Park on the 5th october, from 11am till sundown...we'll have free bbq and drinks, your music playing from your cd's or mp3 player, and nice layed back vibe...were in the process of having CONVIC make some additions to the park, so come and throw your two cents worth in, and show your support for better parks on the northside...

chatswood is really really crappy at the moment
instead of making additions, (in my opinion) it would be way better to get rid of the whole park, and re build it...
cause at the moment, its extremely bad
p.s. im so glad somone is doing somthing about that park!
that would be so expensive though [to rebuild]

re: THE COMMENTS ON HAVING A NEW PARK, THATS NOT REALLY AFFORDABLE, BUT I BELIEVE THE PARK ACTUALLY HAS POTENTIAL, BUT ITS CONSTRUCTION AND SOME WEIRD FEATURES KIND OF WRECKED IT, SO WITH SOME ADDITIONS AND REPAIRS, I THINK IT COULD BE A HEAPS BETTER PARK...AND THATS WHAT WE HAVE THE MONEY FOR , SO YOU GUYS ALL NEED TO SUPPORT IT...

its not a bad park, just wack people like rollerbladers go there. yeah man, get those ramps smoothed out.
Funny that one of the wealthiest suburbs in Sydney doesn't have much money to support the youth of the community. Who designed that park anyway? It's close to the top of my list of bad park designs.
PS. Don't EVER use that Anti-Graff paint there again. I smashed my elbow in the joint just doing a kickturn a third of the way up the corner of the bowl to test that crap. That stuff does more damage than good.
From what i know it was some guy who also builds kids play areas and stuff like that who got the job of running the project, and also the construction company that got the job also had no idea, so its no idea that the end result was so ordinary...
..i still say it has some potential, and hopefully with convic having a looking at it, it will be worth skating...
