I dont try to be elitist...but
Im guessing skate parks were built to keep us off the streets and away from Mr and Mrs Average?
So why is it every park I visit has been getting parents riding mountain bikes, sitting on ledges and basically getting in my way.
Kids on Bigwheels, kids sliding down ramps, I even saw a family with a picnic rug in the middle of a funbox.
How many times have I skated a street spot and had people like this abuse me for invading their space.
Stories how they built that handrail or they painted it.
How many times have I had the coppas come and tell me to leave because theyve got calls from people that Im damaging their ledge/rail or Im just making too much noise?
And now this shit?
I mean cmon, before I skated my first park I made sure I could skate in a straight line and stay on the deck
and made sure to keep outta locals way as soon as I was at the park.
My only joy was watching some dad trying to coach his scared shitless kid to drop in a 6 ft bank when the kid couldnt even skate straight.
The kid was smart and said no!
So he yells at the kid and says he'll show him.
The dad hops on the deck in sandles, rolls to the top of the trannie and faceplants all the way to the bottom onto his knee.
His Wife carried his ass to the car.
man, i hate seeing old people stack it.....i once saw this old man eat it....it was so sad. heres a man quite respectable. falling over at a skatepark which is filled with some young skaters and knowing that they are laughing at you.....
lol on time i saw a real little kid on a bike just peddle towards a 1/4 pipe and ride straight off the edge like it was a gutter (the big 1/4s at kuraby) he ate it pretty bad.....

but yer i saw two twin girls about 6 yrs old, one was bung eye and they just kept rollin on their bums on scooters and was the main bit of the park the led to everything, i got pretty negative that day
i hate skating while families including grandparents n long lost cousins n shit are sitting at the side of the park making sure yu dont hit there 3 year kid that doesnt move out of the way or moves so much that there always in yur way
every now and then when ya get in an argument with a over protective parent there is ussually are good one that backs yu up not to far away

well lately there has been a plague of scooters (in the 30s) day in day out at my local, its fucking bullshit
ban pizza cutters (scooters) I had the mums and dads who leave young kid unattended and they just cirlce the fun box. If you ask the kid to get out of the way, they go crying to mum and dad and then mum and dad come back all agro with the old "how dare you say that to my kid" despite the fact the council signs say no scooters, unattended kids.
best/worst thing I saw was a milf on bubs skate try to drop in from a fun box and brake her forearm.
worst cause I hate seeing that shit... best cause she was staked with an awesome rack and I luv seeing that!!!
i hate all the old skaters at ringwood who skate around like they own place and shove you off your board for no reason and get in your way on purpose
