7ft deep with 6ft trannies in the deep and 4ft deep with 3ft trannies in the shallow. It is tight and the walls are close together, watch your speed lines or you'll check the wall
hope you pardon me asking MM but how can you have a bowl with a shallow and a deep end with out a waterfall?
It should be a gradual slope from shallow tranny bottom to deep tranny bottom, just like real pools in the USA. Especially on a pool as tight as Manly Vale.
When I look at the pics again, I see the wank chair placement is for goofy footers. Imagine, as a regular footer, having to negotiate the waterfall, and then get a line around the chair. You'd have to carve or grind the whole flat wall and past the chair to do it sort of safely. I could be wrong. Time will tell.
Hey mosu101....skate much?????
Look at....
Riverwood....kidney bowl, no waterfall.
Marulan......great bowl, no waterfall.
Any backyard pool in the world........no waterfall.
Anyway, I'll make up my mind when I skate it.
yeah Red, when Im not injured.
Rivo is one of my favourites but I thought it had a waterfall, even though its a mild one.
2 of the few pools I rode had a flat bottom shallow then like a bowl stuck on the end for the deep end.
Think Im understanding this better a change in depth is ok if it is gentle or gradual (like 5 degrees maybe?) but big change in depth over a short distance sucks (like Bondi)
what sort of "gradient" is ok cause maybe it should be in all park design specifications
the sk8park is fucking wack i went there today, the bowl is a fucking deathtrap, the quarters at the back are warped to the shit, the only good thing is smooth concrete and some fun banks,a fun flat hip.the smaller rail is fucking shit which u can only skate one side, and also u can get hooked up doing board slide cause the ledge its next to is high as the rail, its so wack.the big rail looks alright but can only skated good on one side also, in fear of falling into the pool.
