im just half unemployed tryin to move outta grantville and into melbourne. gettin there,
all the usual events, skating, drinking, walking etc.
how you been travellin?
gigs? ladies? boards? misadventures?
Yeah not going too bad.
Haven't been gigging. That band I was gonna audition for - when they first mentioned it I gave them one month to have everything ready to go (get the demo to me to learn the songs off etc) and they missed the deadline so tough shit to them. Plus the rhythm guitarist was quoted as saying "noone can play our stuff! We play too low!" just because they tune to dropped B - it's a piece of piss, all you gotta do is retune the guitar. Anyone can play that low, so I figure I'm not missing out by not playing in a band with blow-hards.
Not much happening on the lady front unfortunately.
I got my big board (10 inch single kicker, indy169's, and 68mm bones bombers) all set up and got a roll on it last weekend, and am already starting to scope out my next one. It's such a sick board eh.
Misadventures? Well when I left work yesterday the lifts were out, so I had to walk 15 floors worth of stairs. Then the trains were out because of a downed power line on the harbour bridge, so I had to walk from north sydney across the bridge to wynyard. There were buses but it was about an hour and a half line up to get on one, so the 40 minute walk was the quicker option.
Oh, caught up with Dregs last week and had a roll and a few beers.
wise move on the no go for the band of pricks haha. so no band at all right now? bummerrrr.
Sick board!! hows it handle? carvin up a storm aye foxy? im in pretty desperate need for a new rig, i mite get one soon.
hahaha yeah dregsie told me that he was to be in sydney and he was gonna have a skate and some brews with ya. was it mega funn!?!
ladyluck bein down always sucks.....just ask dunnas, he was bout to get gobbed the other nite til an annoying interuption ruined it. hahaha poor dunnas
Yeah no band for now. Possibility of getting something together with a bass player I know who should be able to keep up, but that won't be until towards the end of the year. I'm still messing with the idea of putting together some kind of little 5-6 song solo EP - not sure if I'm gonna sing on it or just keep it instrumental or what, I'll see what sort of stuff I start writing in the next few weeks.
Yeah the board is the best! So smooth and quiet. Gets some speed going to with the 68mm's.
Didn't get onto it too hard with Dregs. He had one of his mates with him and I think I got him too stoned haha. Oh well Dregs says he'll be around at the end of the month again to redeem himself hahaha
haha did you bastards bust in the door and spoil it for him or something? HAHAHAA
should definately consider the solo EP, reckon it could be pretty sweet.
haha dregs, thats sick, good luck with his redemption. give the same treatment aha.
hahaha nah we didnt bust in, one of her friends, heaps annoying friend called her said if she doesnt come back then shes not a real friend, so dunnas was left untouched and quite sour. haha.

Yeah no band for now. Possibility of getting something together with a bass player I know who should be able to keep up, but that won't be until towards the end of the year.
