omg your complaining about stairs at your park? or any park?
k go park finder click on bendigo.. we have a shit whole. if there were stairs here so much proggress could be made.
whenever anybody here wants a stair bash skate 2 mins down the road to centerlink or 10 mins up the road to the schools.
dont bag what u got.
i think the inclusion of stairs more depends on the style of park. if its a plaza style park then stairs are sweet, but if they're kind of chucked in the middle of a flowing bowly/tranny park as a little "street" section then maybe it would be better off being a euro with a rail. this would give a few more options cos fuck knows anyone who can ride up a set of stairs and do some flippity dippity off the top
ur complaining about stairs go to park locatlor n search emerald we have big rocks in the middle of the skate park thats a waste of space
stairs are a good option for smaller, low budget parks becuase they are fool proof to build. if my shitty council contracted someone who had never built a skatepark before i would want stairs, because its less dodgy in a way. stairs are all time, and it will keep people skating a park.
I reckon stairs are fine, as long as it's not big enough that hardly anyone will use it. A 6 stair with small hubbas and handrail would be pretty good.
I only agree with a euro gap at rails a straight bank freaks me out whwere to ollie from.
stairs are pretty shit at most parks because theres a list of tricks people have done down them so when a non local comes by its like so abd dion johnson 3 years ago.....find a good stair set on the streets and the tricks landed would be much more rewarding.
we need more 15 sets in parks so we can see mick mulhall fakie half cab them LOL
